The org chart, walkable. Lit rooms have something worth seeing in them.
Weekly Pulse is quick. Monthly Board is the one with teeth, and veto. A finding serious enough not to wait for the calendar can trigger a session on its own.
Sessions
Most recent firstEach voice reasons from its own actual data, and from each other, not just from you.
The six numbers named in the constitution. Log a snapshot whenever you check them, Ada reads the latest one automatically.
History
Same countenance as your build partner, prompted from your own constitution. Honest, direct, no em dashes, pushes back when it matters.

What's actually running right now
Nothing here runs on its own. There's no background process, no server checking things while the tab is closed. Everything, notifications, Board sessions, Ada's replies, only happens the instant this page is open and something triggers it. Rooms don't "owe you" work in the sense of an agent doing something unseen, they hold a genuine commitment that sits waiting until you come back to it.
Rooms
Each room in the sidebar is a function of the company. Every room has its own log (actual entries with a status: Open, In Progress, Done, Won't Do, click the pill to cycle it), its own chat with that room's actual persona reasoning from genuine data where it exists, and a "Bring in Ada" button for a second opinion from the synthesis voice, the same one who shows up in Board sessions.
The Board
Trigger Board (emergency) or the Monthly Board button open the same live session. Pick who else joins beyond the core four, or check "focused" to pick exactly who's in the room, nothing forced. Once it's running: reply to any specific voice, or use the open floor to say something to everyone. Continue Discussion lets them keep talking to each other, not just to you. When you're done, "Draft it all from the transcript" writes a first pass at the decision, minutes, and next steps, review and edit before saving, nothing's final until you save it. Next steps can get a due date, and become genuine Open Actions the moment you save.
Check-ins
When a next step's due date arrives, it shows up in Notifications. "Start a check-in" opens a focused Board session automatically, with only the rooms that owe you something in the room, and the opening message already written.
Metrics, Constitution, Playbook
Log a snapshot whenever you check your actual numbers, or import them straight from your MyCareerOS analytics endpoint. The Constitution and Marketing Playbook in Settings are pasted once and read automatically by Ada from then on, in every room, every Board session, forever, until you update them.
Voice
The sound toggle in the sidebar is the one switch for everything audio. Click any speaker icon once per session to unlock autoplay, browsers block it otherwise. The mic button transcribes and puts the text in the box for you to check, it never sends automatically, so a bad transcription can't go out by accident.
Getting connected
Everything AI-powered needs the worker connection in Settings, your worker URL and token. Without it, rooms and Board sessions still hold your logged history, they just can't reason or speak until that's set.
Search
Ada checks quietly, before every message, whether it genuinely needs current information, and only searches when the answer is yes, so this costs almost nothing on questions that don't need it. This needs a Brave Search API key set as BRAVE_SEARCH_KEY on the worker, and the /api/search endpoint deployed. Until that's live, the check still runs, it just quietly finds nothing to use.
Notifications, backup, and the shared worker connection for Ada.
Ada / Worker Connection
The Constitution
Paste it once. Ada reads it automatically from here on every message, along with your rooms, board sessions, and metrics. You never have to hand her anything again.
Marketing Playbook
Paste the actual strategy once, the villain framing, the five pillars, hook and retention principles, brand voice rules. Ada reasons with genuine marketing thinking instead of generic advice from here on.
Name Your Board
Give each seat an actual name instead of a job title, if that's what makes it feel like a genuine team. Leave any blank to keep the role name.
Definition of Enough
Behavioral economics on hedonic adaptation is plain about this: an "enough" number quietly inflates if it's never revisited on purpose, the goalposts creep and you don't notice. The defense isn't defining it once, it's coming back to it periodically and asking honestly whether it still feels true or has quietly drifted.
Notifications
Ada's Voice
Uses tts-1, the cheap OpenAI tier, not the pricier HD model. Needs the /api/ai/speak addition on the worker.
Sound on or off entirely is the speaker icon in the sidebar, not a setting buried here. This just controls which voice she uses when it's on.
Backup and Export
Everything here lives in this browser only. Export a backup periodically in case the cache clears.
Last backup: never
Reset
Clears everything in SparkeLab on this device. Cannot be undone. Export a backup first.
